Chicago Heights, IL south side was known as Hungry Hill. The name came from poor Italian immigrants that were known as "the hungries" while they trudged off to work towing meager lunches in boxes.

Hungry Hill Sausage Company is a small Italian Delicatessen specializing in homemade Italian sausage. We carry four different flavors of sausage including Mild, Hot, Fennel and Polish. The sausage is offered in two different formats, the sausage link and the sausage patty.

Hungry Hill Sausage Company also carries a wide variety of imported lunchmeats and cheeses shipped directly from Italy. This includes, but is not limited to imported Prosciutto, Capicola, Pepperoni, Mortadella and Salami. Don't forget the Provolone, Asiago and Fontinella cheeses.
